Jensen Ford's LOLMDS debut at Florence cut short by engine woes

Making his first career start with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Jensen Ford ventured to Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) on Wednesday night for the 34th annual Ralph Latham Memorial. In a stout field of 53 cars, Jensen ran into motor issues early in the evening that prevented him from competing in time trials and his heat race. 1Unable to repair his motor issues on Thursday, Ford was forced to scratch from the remainder of the weekend and head home.
