Ford Caught Behind Wreck at Smoky Mountain Speedway

On Saturday night Jensen Ford was one of 30 American Crate All-Star Series entries signed in at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Spring Showdown. Following the fourth fastest time overall in qualifying, Ford secured his spot into the $2,000-to-win A-Main with a 5th place finish in the Dash. Running into trouble early, Jensen got caught behind a wreck on lap-7 that forced him to retire early form the 30-lapper. He was credited with a 22nd place outing.
