Ford battles bad luck with World of Outlaws at Smoky Mountain

Jensen Ford was back behind the wheel of his Estes Bros. Construction No. 83 Late Model on Friday afternoon for the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series sanctioned program at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.).

Drawing 32 cars for the Smoky Mountain Showdown, Ford was ran over by another competitor in his heat race that saw him retire on lap five. After the crew surveyed the damage, Jensen was a scratch from his consolation event.
