Eighth-place finish at Volunteer in Kyle Larson Late Model Challenge
After rainouts plagued their month of March, Jensen Ford returned to the driver's seat of the McCarter Brothers Racing No. 83 Late Model at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the second running of the Kyle Larson Late Model Challenge.
With the event drawing 44 Late Models, Jensen put down the second-fastest qualifying lap in his group before settling for a runner-up finish in his heat behind Mike Marlar. With $20,000 on the line, Ford kept his nose clean during the 50-lap caution-free affair and brought home an eighth-place finish.
