Ford fifth in Night Three of Crystal Cup with American All-Star Series

Returning to the seat of his McCarter Brothers Racing No. 83 Crate Late Model, Jensen Ford made the haul to Beckley (W.Va.) Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon to compete with the American All-Star Series.

Joining the tour on the second night of the Crystal Cup, Ford started on the pole of second heat race but fell back to third. Rolling off towards the back in the $10,000-to-win main event, Jensen recorded a 12th-place finish.

Looking for better results at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.) on Sunday, Jensen qualified second-fastest and placed runner-up in the Dash. For the second $10,000 payday of the holiday weekend, Ford started from the second position and led laps 14-25 before fading late to finish just inside the Top-5 in fifth.
